 Part 1: The First Meeting

🎙️ :
Boston city—autumn is in the air. Orange, red, and yellow leaves are falling from the branches. The streets are filled with people rushing about, students laughing on the college campus, some reading books in coffee shops, others chatting with friends. Amidst all this busyness, there’s a strange solitude.

A young man walks through this solitude—Ethan.

👦 Ethan (thinking to himself, while walking):
"Everyone seems to blend in so easily... but I feel alone, even in the crowd."




🎙️:
Ethan is an Economics student. He’s a quiet, introverted guy. He loves reading books, but when it comes to talking to new people, his words get stuck in his throat. His life revolves around studying, attending classes, and his dorm.

But one afternoon, this monotonous routine is broken in the college library.

🎙️ ()

Ethan is looking for a book. As he reaches for a book on the top shelf, it suddenly falls down.

👧 Girl's voice (with a laugh):
"Oops! Careful. This one’s heavy."

🎙️:
Ethan turns around and sees a girl picking the book up. She’s wearing a white shirt, holding a notebook, and the autumn sun is shimmering in her open hair. Her name is Emma.

👧 Emma:
"Is this the book you were looking for?"

👦 Ethan (hesitantly):
"Ah… yes. Thank you."

👧 Emma (smiling):
"Then maybe we can share it? Maybe it’s destiny."

👦 Ethan (surprised, with a soft smile):
"Destiny? Over a book?"

👧 Emma (teasing):
"Why not? Many great stories have started this way."

🎙️:
That small conversation marked the beginning of something new in the lives of these two strangers.

🎙️ :
Days passed. A sudden encounter in the campus corridor, sitting together with coffee in a coffee shop, or studying at the same table in the library—destiny seemed to be weaving an invisible thread between Emma and Ethan.

One afternoon, they sat together in the campus coffee shop.

👧 Emma (holding a coffee):
"Why are you always so quiet? You barely talk to anyone."

👦 Ethan (trying to hold back a laugh):
"I’m more of a silent type. Books are my best friends."

👧 Emma (frowning, teasing):
"Books don’t buy you coffee, they don’t tell you jokes, and they don’t help you in class. Maybe you deserve a human friend."

👦 Ethan (smiling softly):
"Maybe… and maybe that friend is sitting right in front of me."

🎙️ :
Emma smiled. And in that smile, Ethan realized—this was the first crack in the walls of his solitude.

🎙️:
Over the next few weeks, their friendship grew deeper. They talked about everything, from class notes to movies, books, and dreams.

One day, Emma suddenly asked—

👧 Emma:
"Ethan, what’s your dream? What do you want to do after college?"

👦 Ethan (pausing to think):
"My dream? Nothing too big. I just want to walk through life with the person I love."

👧 Emma (looking at him, wide-eyed):
"Are you serious?"

👦 Ethan (laughing):
"Yes. There are many definitions of success… but for me, true success is finding someone who will make my world feel like home."

🎙️:
Emma remained silent for a moment. Then, with a soft smile, she said—

👧 Emma:
"Maybe your destiny isn’t a book… maybe it’s a person."

🎙️ :
And so their story began. The autumn leaves continued to fall, but the bond between the two of them grew stronger. Emma illuminated Ethan’s world, and in Emma’s eyes, Ethan found a peaceful haven.

But little did they know—this journey would not end in just friendship.
